GRAPP 2010 - http://www.grapp.visigrapp.org (the Int\'l Conference on Computer Graphics Theory and Applications) has an open call for papers, whose deadline is set to next November 22nd. We hope you can participate in this prestigious conference by submitting a paper reflecting your current research. GRAPP (http://www.grapp.visigrapp.org), to be held in Angers, France, on May 17-21, is a component conference of VISIGRAPP (Int\'l Joint Conference on Computer Vision, Imaging and Computer Graphics Theory and Applications), a joint conference that integrates knowledge areas related to Computer Vision, Imaging, Computer Graphics and Information Visualization, which are becoming more and more interrelated and sustain important interdisciplinary R&D work. (http://www.visigrapp.org). Technically co-Sponsored by the Workflow Management Coalition (WfMC), GRAPP brings together top researchers and practitioners in several areas of computer graphics, interested in both theoretical advances and applications in this field. The conference will be structured along four main tracks, covering different aspects related to Computer Graphics, from Modelling to Rendering, including Animation and Interactive Environments. The GRAPP program will include a number of Keynote Lectures to be delivered by distinguished world-class researchers. The list of currently confirmed invited speakers can be found at the conference web site (http://www.visigrapp.org/Keynote_Speakers.htm). Submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings, under an ISBN reference, on paper and CD-ROM support. The proceedings will be indexed by several major international indexers, including INSPEC, DBLP and Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index, and we are awaiting the confirmation of indexation by EI. Additionally, a short list of about 30 papers, presented at VISIGRAPP, will be selected so that revised and extended versions of these papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in a CCIS Series book. Best paper awards will be distributed during the conference. All published papers will be also available at the INSTICC\'s Digital Library, which will be made available shortly. Workshops and special sessions are also invited. If you wish to propose a workshop or a special session, for example based on the results of a specific research project, please send a proposal to the GRAPP secretariat. Workshop chairs and Special Session chairs will benefit from logistics support and other types of support, including secretariat and financial support, to facilitate the development of a valid idea. Should you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Kind regards, Bruno Encarnacao GRAPP Secretariat Av. D.
