Call for Contributions

The Graphite2006 International Programme Committee seeks submissions that convey advances in research, practical experiences, and innovative applications across the broad range of topics represented at this event. Contributions of related artistic work will be requested separately for the Video Proceedings and Art Show.

Conference topics will cover computer graphics and interactive techniques in areas including but not limited to:

    * Modeling techniques

    * Real time graphics
    * Virtual and augmented reality

    * Education and e-learning applications
    * Interactive digital media
    * Web 3D and applications

Submission and Author Schedule

As with our past conferences, the Graphite online paper submission system will be used by authors to create their profiles and manage their presentation details, including abstract and paper details. The online submission system will be available on this website from 2 April, 2006.

    Key Dates

    Site opens for submissions: 15 March, 2006
    Papers and Short Papers due: 7 July, 2006
    Authors notified: 30 August, 2006
    Camera-ready due: 16 September, 2006

Papers

Papers should describe original and unpublished work on the above or closely related topics. Authors should submit a manuscript electronically as a PDF file. The paper should not exceed 10 pages single spaced in length including images, figures, tables and references. The paper should also include the title of the paper, authors' names, affiliations, postal addresses, e-mail addresses and the contact person for the paper.

All accepted papers will be appear in a proceedings published by the ACM.

Short Papers

Short papers are intended to allow authors to present work which is perhaps more applied, or in a less finalised state, in order to expose ideas and generate discussion and debate with other delegates. They should be no more than 4 pages long and include the same types of information as the full papers.

Short papers will also be published in the conference proceedings but will be identified as shorter contributions.
