Call for contributions Eighth Eurographics Workshop on Visualization in Scientific Computing Boulogne sur Mer, France April 28-30, 1997 AIMS AND SCOPE: Following seven successful workshops (Clamart-1990, Delft-1991, Viareggio-1992, Abingdon-1993, Rostock-1994, Chia-1995, Prague-1996) the eighth Eurographics Workshop on Visualization in Scientific Computing will be held in Boulogne sur Mer, France. The workshop aims to be a forum of discussion therefore we also encourage contributions describing work in progress and partial solutions. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to: Volume visualization Fluid flow visualization Surface extraction and visualization Parallel and distributed visualization User interface techniques Multi-variate visualization Visualization and modelling of large datasets Data handling and data modelling Biological and medical imaging Information visualization Virtual reality in scientific visualization Visualization in education support PAPER SUBMISSION: Contributions are invited with respect to all the above mentioned aspects of scientific visualization, including visualization tools and methods, and discipline-specific applications. Authors are requested either to send five copies of a full paper including figures and images (max. 10 pages) by regular mail or to upload the PostScript version of the full paper. In addition, authors are encouraged to write and upload their paper in one of the formats listed at http://www-lil.univ-littoral.fr/~visc97 (where style files can be downloaded).
