CONFERENCE TOPICS

The conference  attempts to  communicate research results  in the
field  of computer graphics and its applications. Possible topics
include:
        o graphics hardware
        o rendering algorithms
        o illumination and shading
        o geometric modeling
        o physical based modeling
        o shape abstraction modeling
        o user interfaces
        o animation techniques
        o volume visualization
        o virtual reality techniques
        o photo-realistic rendering
        o theoretical foundations
        o graphics applications
        o graphics systems
        o computer vision and image understanding

This year, we are introducing a new session for young scientists.
Only PhD students can contribute to this session. Selected papers
will be presented as part of conference program and published in
                     conference proceedings.

The   conference will  be held  in the  Budmerice Castle   (about
90  km  near Vienna) in April 27th - 29th, 2006. This event seems
to  be  the  oldest  regular annual meeting of  CG  community  in
Central  Europe.  The  spring conference attempts  to  cover  all
interesting projects from computer graphics and image  processing
and  the  applications. The philosophy of SCCG is to put together
top  experts  with  young researchers   and  to  support  a  good
communication  channel  for  East-West  exchange  of  prospective
ideas.

The  conference  language is English. In the  case  of  interest,
please,  complete  the  registration form  at  SCCG  homepage  or

preferably by e-mail: sccg@sccg.sk.


IMPORTANT DATES

     Paper submission deadline     February 20th, 2006
     Notification of acceptance    March 24th, 2006
     Camera-ready paper due        April 3rd, 2006
     Conference                    April 27th, 2006


PAPERS

We  ask  the authors to check the typographical quality (size  of
fonts,   illustrations...)  with  respect   to   the   formatting
guidelines  that  can  be  found on  SCCG  page.  The  conference
proceedings from selected papers and young scientists papers will
be  published before the event by Comenius University and by  ACM
SIGGRAPH  afterwards.  There is also  a  possibility  to  publish
posters  or  company presentations (reviewed  by  the  organizing
committee) in the conference exhibition and in the second part of
the  proceedings  with ISSN 1335-5694. Deadline  for  posters  is
April   3rd,  2006.  Additional  information  will  be  sent   to
registered participants later. The hot information can  be  found
