Conf. 2001 SECOND CALL FOR PAPERS Deadline: 5th May 2001 Irish Machine Vision & Image Processing Conference 5th - 7th September 2001 Department of Computer Science, National University of Ireland, Maynooth www.cs.may.ie/imvip/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Call for Papers Contributions are sought in all aspects of image processing, image analysis, pattern recognition and machine vision, including but not restricted to the following topics: Industrial Machine Vision Remote Sensing Image & Video Representation, Compression and Coding Medical and Biomedical Imaging Image Processing in Forensic Science Hardware and Software Architectures for Image Processing Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision Cognitive Science and Computer Vision Authors who wish to present a paper at the conference should send four printed copies of their paper to the address given below by Friday 4th May 2001. Full papers should not exceed 8 printed pages (11 point font, single-spacing). To facilitate the review process, the submitted paper should contain two title pages. The main title page should contain: the title of the paper; the authors' names and complete addresses; the corresponding author's email address; an abstract of up to 300 words; and up to five keywords. A second title page should omit the authors' name and address information to preserve anonymity. Style examples (which can be followed also for submissions in Word) are available on the conference web site: www.cs.may.ie/imvip/. Important dates Submission deadline for full papers: 4th May 2001.
