EG'2003 will provide a unique forum for Computer Graphics researchers, engineers, developers and users to share their experience and to identify new trends, meeting in a city with a very rich history. Besides the contributions of traditional technical papers, state of the art reports, tutorials, industrial seminars, slide-video shows and short presentations, new tracks has been incorporated to the Conference programme: education papers, interactive demos and project presentations. Projects presentations will provide a unique forum to present large live research and development projects, while interactive demo track constitute a new channel to present working Computer graphics applications. Both aims to fill the gap between the research and industrial communities, providing a privileged forum to present practical application of the research work to the whole Computer Graphics Community. Education papers constitute a special forum for educators, helping to make the bridge between Computer Graphics research and education. Conference Topics ================= Authors are invited to submit original contributions addressing novel applications of graphics in one or more of (but not restricted to) the following topic areas: - Geometric Modelling - Animation/Simulation - Modelling/Animating Nature - Hardware + Rendering - Global Illumination - Textures/Image Based Rendering - Interactive Rendering/Graphics for Games - Large Model Aquisition/Reconstruction - Augmented/Virtual Reality - Volumetric Techniques - Data Visualization - Interaction/Multimedia-Techniques - Web-based Graphics Conference Programme ==================== The technical programme of EG'03 spreads over three days, and includes Full Papers, Short Presentations, Invited Speakers, State of Art Reports, Education Presentations, Industrial Seminars, Projects Presentations, Interactive Demos presentations and Slide Animation and Multimedia Shows.
