This 11th conference on Computer Animation is organized by the Center for Human Modeling and Simulation (HMS) at the University of Pennsylvania - USA. Call for Papers Contributions are solicited describing original research results and application papers in the following areas of computer animation: Motion control . Medical applications Real-time simulation, animation and visualization INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS: Four copies of full papers in English should be sent to the Program Co-Chair Dimitris Metaxas by February 13, 1998. Authors will be notified by March 15, 1998. Camera-ready papers are due by April 15, 1998. All accepted papers will appear in a book published by IEEE Computer Society Press. Original unpublished papers of up to 20 pages (single-spaced, 12 points, including figures, tables and references) are invited. Manuscripts must be written in English. The first part of the paper should include a title, an abstract, keywords, and author's information (name, title, affiliation, address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address). All papers will be reviewed carefully by the International Program Committee members and by external reviewers. IMPORTANT DATES PAPERS DUE : February 3, 1998. Submit your latest work by February 28th, 1998. Selected films will be shown on public screening during the Computer Animation'98 conference to be held at Philadelphia, (Pennsylvania - USA), 8-10 June 1998. They will be further screened during the traditional Computer Animation Festival of Geneva (Switzerland), 9-12 Sept 1998.. Several awards will be awarded by an international panel of judges. Films should be submitted in video Betacam PAL only. Please include film credits and complete description of the work in accordance with the film submission form.
